The Tomita grater is a grater made from 18-8 stainless steel and does not use a blade, which would injure your fingers.
Even small ingredients such as garlic can be safely grated to the end. The perfect size for table top use, you can grate wasabi, ginger, garlic, fresh chilli or even cheese.
It has a plate like shape with a raised rim, so you can grate ingredients that tend to release moisture like radishes or daikon.
Easy to clean and dishwasher safe as well as safe to use for all ages including children as they grater cannot cut or harm themselves.
Made for Tomita Co Ltd in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture by a collaboration between Masatoshi Tomita who is president of Tomita Co. Ltd & Chianki Murata, Managing Director of Hers Design Inc.
